I recently recorded and video-taped all four of my custom TRICK snare drums.

I did this so other drummers can hear how versatile and wonderful these snare drums sound.

I am and have always been a great admirer of the TRICK percussion company and its president, founder and owner, Michael Dorfman. His desire to make the worlds best sounding and looking drums never ceases to amaze me.

My first, the 4x14 black Kodiak piccolo is over 22 years old. It is the first one I ever got from a new company at the time, TRICK percussion products. I heard about these new aluminum snares that were versatile and LOUD! Pure in tone...and easy to tune.

And I wasn't disappointed.

The second one to hit my arsenal was the 8x14 Candy Apple Green Kodiak. This thing is HUGE. Low tuning to high tuning...it cuts through and again...pure in tone.

I then had the AmbA DextrO snare made for me by Michael and crew a few years back...they had to match my proprietary Candy Apple Red with Gold flecks powder coating...they did!

Finally, I had the "Decco" snare (Recently changed in name to "Jazzbo" honoring my late little sister Jessica) made...but I was able to design the wrap on this drum...Complete with gold sparkle hardware, this drum always draws a crowd. And you should hear it...well...I guess you will!

All snare drums are made from AL 13 aircraft grade aluminum.
