    Person saved following a near-drowning incident in Forest

    FOREST, Va. (WDBJ7) — The Forest Vol. Fire Department says one individual was saved after being underwater at Ivy Lake for several minutes. Crews were dispatched Monday evening to Ivy Lake and found that a person was removed from the water by a bystander. Officials say the person was treated and later transported to the hospital.
